Send a picture of what you have and a person tells you what it is likely to be, what is plated rather than solid, and whether it is worth posting. It is free, and nobody follows up unless you ask.

The telephone is answered 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, by a person. Nobody rings you afterwards to chase an answer.

What happens next

A person reads it and replies the same way you got in touch. Nothing lands in an automated inbox, and nobody telephones afterwards to push a sale.
If you asked about a piece, you get an opinion on what it looks like and whether it is worth posting, including when the answer is that it is not.
Nothing is opened, booked in or committed to. A pack only goes out if you ask for one.
Put a case reference in your message and the handler looking after that case answers you. Complaints go to the route on the complaints page, with its three stages set out there.
Your details are used to answer you and nothing else, and what you send is deleted on the schedule in the privacy notice.
